UCC ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28 – 12:15 PM

Join Us on ZOOM! It’s Easy!!

A Love Letter to YOU!

Beloved,

Thank you, with all our hearts, for the wonderful ways that you lovingly support the ministry here at Unity Church of Clearwater! The love you share comes back to you multiplied and your gifts of love and substance make possible the ongoing work of this spiritual community in fulfilling our mission:

to welcome all who are drawn to our Church
to be inspired, instructed, encouraged, and empowered,
and to experience and express the Christ consciousness
of wisdom, wholeness, abundance, love, and peace.

This year promises to be awesome! I am happy to join with other members of our Board of Directors (Grant Dansby, Ed Marinacci, Sylvia Alvarez, Mary Haviland, Deb Larkin and Don Simon), in welcoming all of our Unity friends, including our members and voting members, to join us on Zoom for our Annual Meeting – same link as our Sunday Zoom Social – right after our Sunday Service on Sun, Feb. 28, about 12:15 PM.

Two candidates (both returning members to our Board, now eligible again) for our Board of Directors (Patricia Warren and Ed Marinacci) will be welcomed to begin new three year terms. Longtime Welcome Team Leader, Jeff Jones, has agreed to accept the Board’s nomination to represent the membership on the Nominating Committee, going forward, along with Deb Larkin, who volunteered to represent our Board.

Co-Presidents of Leadership Development, Grant and Ed, will preside and I will present a short Spiritual Baptism blessing on behalf of our Ministry Team. Though only acting voting members may participate in the meeting, all are most welcome to observe. Since all relevant handouts are made available online between now and the meeting date, our meeting will be relative brief (probably only about twenty minutes). Please check the links below for relevant handout material; financial reports will be sent by email by request from active voting members to info@unityofclearwater.org).

We love you, we bless you, we appreciate you,
and we behold the Christ in you!

In the Loving Unity of Spirit,
Leddy Hammock, Sr. Minister

UCC Mission Statement

“Jesus Christ is the Head of our Church.
Our Mission is to serve the Christ, the Word of God,
by learning, teaching, sharing, and living the
universal principles taught by Jesus Christ –
the goodness of God, the divinity of humanity,
the principle of Idealism, and the freedom of individuals in matters of belief
as understood in the tradition of Christian Idealism
established by the Founders of the Unity movement,
as progressively advanced by others of like mind,
and as outlined in our democratically-mediated Statement of Faith.
Dedicated to the highest principles of Church teachings,
education and government, Unity Church of Clearwater
offers services of worship, classes of instruction,
and other means that, according to the guidance of the Senior Minister
(our elected Administrative Executive), serve this Mission:
Our Purpose is to further the teachings of Jesus Christ everywhere.
We are a free and open, autonomous spiritual community,
welcoming all who are drawn to our Church to be inspired, instructed,
encouraged, and empowered and to experience and express
the Christ consciousness of wisdom, wholeness, abundance, love, and peace.”
