This coming Sunday Leddy will offer this special prayer message to the congregation of The Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church in Charleston, SC.
“We are with you in prayer and in Spirit, at Unity Church of Clearwater, Florida. We hereby commit and resolve to work along with you and with all people of good faith, by teaching our youth kindness, compassion, understanding, acceptance, and Truth and by guiding them to walk in ways of peace together. You shall not be brought down by ignorance and fear. You shall rise up and bring our awakening world with you. We are knowing with you that your hearts are comforted, your faith renewed, and your courage lifted up, and that where you are, God is — mighty in the midst of you to heal and empower you at depth. We are with you. God bless you and we love you!”
And we will speak our Prayer for Protection from our congregation to theirs:
The Light of God surrounds you;
The Love of God enfolds you;
The Power of God protects you;
The Presence of God watches over you;
and wherever you are, God is, and all is well.”
