       Welcome to our new web site, and our Tech Team page! Our Tech Team is a group of highly-dedicated members who all volunteer time and talent to help make your worship experience enjoyable.     

       Our Technical Team are the dedicated volunteers who have been trained to operate and care for the equipment in our state-of-the-art, multimedia studio, upstairs in the Sanctuary Media Loft.  This equipment includes the camera, lighting, DVD/video recording and, sound mixing board, that help facilitate our services. 

      Kevin Luce is our Team Leader, working with all of the members, making sure Tech Team members understand what is required for each position, and arranging training where required.  The Unity of Clearwater Tech Team is responsible for lighting the services, so that you are able to easily see what is happening on stage.  (We are affirming that in the near future the lighting will also allow us to highlight various band members during solos.)

      Video recording our services, allowing us to offer DVDs or VHS tapes soon after the end of each service or on subscription. We also have a program on the local public access TV station. You will Monday, July 31, 2006projection screens at the front of the sanctuary. Currently we are using a single camera, however, we look forward to adding a second and third camera in the future, allowing us to give multiple views of the action on stage.

      Audio reinforcement and recording is probably our single most important task. We are using 2, 40-channel mixing consoles. One is for the sound in the Sanctuary, allowing you to hear every instrument and singer on stage. The other is used for mixing the sound of the services onto CD, DVD, Audio and Video tape. The Team is also investigating a new hearing assisted system to replace the one that was damaged in the May 2003 fire.

      Our duplication systems allows us to offer you CDs, Cassette tape, DVDs, and Video tapes soon after the end of each service. We are able to high speed duplicate multiple CDs, Cassettes and DVDs. These are also available on subscription. Please contact our Church offices if you would like to start a subscription for yourself or loved one.

       After the fire of 2003, we decided to replace the single projection screen with a screen on either side of the stage.  (With only one screen, we couldn't show lyrics or other information during services, while the band and choir were on stage.  Now, we can have song lyrics, words to responsive readings, opening statements, and more, displayed in full view while people are on stage. An important element of this production is our multi-media system. This program allows us to show all of the information vital to your worship experience. The Team is responsible for keeping the information on the “slides” current, and operating the program during the service. The multi-media system has allowed us to go “paperless” for our services, enabling us to be better stewards to the environment.

        An exciting addition to the Tech Team is the development and maintenance of the Church website. If you were familiar with the old website, you will see that this one is even more functional and attractive.  Sometime in the future, we are affirming the ability to stream live audio and video of our services to the Internet!

        Everyone on the Team is absolutely terrific to work with, and they have all worked hard over the past few months to get all of the systems working, while at the same time learning how the systems work. This has been a daunting task, that all have approached with a smile, and wonderful positive attitude. Thank you to all of the Tech Team members!
