Opportunities

During the fall of 1994, Dave Amick, Terri Gary & Sandy Dorton recognized the problems confronting

the stray cats in Pinellas County. These friends decided to form a non-profit, humane organization whose mission

would be to shelter and re-home abandoned and homeless cats and kittens. Thus Save Our Strays was formed.

You can support the work of Save Our Strays through your purchase of a unique t-shirt!

Adopt a family

This year we are adopting children and families through First Start, for folks in a financial crisis and the Literacy Program which focuses on immigrant families . There is a Wish Tree  at the information desk and anyone wishing to adopt a child can take  a name or names from the tree.  These items will need to be brought in to the office for delivery by the 18th of December.

"The mission of RCS is to feed the hungry,

help homeless families return to self-sufficiency,

and empower survivors of domestic violence"

RCS is a not-for-profit social service agency serving northern Pinellas County,

including the communities of Clearwater, Largo, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, and Safety Harbor.

Through the services provided at the RCS Food Bank, RCS Grace House/Stepping Stone,

and The Haven of RCS, they serve more than 34,000 people in our community

many who are single working mothers, children, and senior citizens.

There is a collection basket for food donations in our Unity Bookstore!
