Adult Education Overview

A full range of classes in spiritual study are offered

throughout each week, and many are available for credit

to become a Licensed Unity Teacher or Certified

Instructor. All courses offered by the Church are taught by

Certified Instructors, Licensed Unity Teachers, Advanced

Certified Instructors, or Ministers.

We occasionally host

workshops by representatives from New Thought

organizations other than the above listed instructors

(such as INTA District Presidents or traveling lecturers),

but these are not offered under the auspices of the

Church's education program and are not available for

Metaphysical Bible Study

Wednesdays 7:30pm

Join Certified Instructor and Chaplain, Ann Luce, on Wednesdays after

the Midweek Service for a fascinating look at

the Bible
(We hear that it's not your Grandmother's Bible,
but also it is also about sex, drugs, and rock 'n'roll?)

We hold the Bible as a Foundational text; and

its stories, allegorically interpreted and personally

applied, bring insight to our daily lives.

Invented by our own Ann Luce to help remember the seven

basic principles of Unity. Here's what she shares with her kids:

God is good and only good - there is no evil.

I am God's perfect child - Inately divine.

Chaplain Preparation

The Chaplains' preparation at Unity Church of Clearwater is a comprehensive program comprised of three-steps:

1.) completion of the one and a half hour new members' session for the Church AND all three Participating Member Program classes for the Unity-Progressive Council;

2.) attendance of 5 out of 7 sessions each, of three classes: Lessons in Truth, Christian Healing, and Effectual Prayer or equivalent (credit for these classes taken at another Unity center are transferable);

3.) this last step is for candidates who have completed steps 1. and 2., and is comprised of seven sessions of two hours each of a "Living the Life" class as designed and presented by our Chaplaincy Team (this will include service in our Youth Ministry). Check our ongoing class schedule; childcare must be prearranged. Classes are open to all interested Truth students, and are provided on a love offering basis. Ask our Volunteer Coordinator for a trifolds about the Chaplaincy program.
